Singing His Praise

The first unit of five lessons, called “Learning from the Psalms,” explores what joy it is to know and trust God. Though he is far above us, he cares for us. Though he knows every sinful thing about us, he loves us. As new creations in Christ, we are invited to sing his praise and to love and serve him forever.

The second unit of five lessons, called “The Great Shepherd of the Sheep,” focuses on Psalm 23 and explores how God is our shepherd. David was a good shepherd/king, but later kings of Israel led the people away from God, making them yearn for another king like David. Jesus was that greater king, and knowing and following him is our greatest joy.
